Monitor-Class VSAT Tracking System
The MONITOR-Class VSAT antenna tracking systems are easy to install and even easier to use. The system only requires pointing approximately at the satellite; then with a single press of the “acquire” button the IPOINT with the INTRAC- lite option will accurately locate and lock on to the designated traffic satellite rapidly; the controller then utilises its sophisticated repetitive monitoring algorithm to ensure you are always locked on to the desired inclined orbit satellite.
Both the IPOINT and INTRAC lite have been developed using Advantech’s 25 plus years experience in antenna tracking and control in the most demanding (military & commercial systems). The MONITOR-Class has been designed for volume deployment and simple installation. Available as an “out-of-the-box” antenna system or as a retrofit upgrade product. The MONITOR-Class product is versatile enough to cover every type of VSAT network allowing deployment where only inclined orbit space segment is available or were reducing on-going space segment costs are key.
